How to set your draft order

  1. Paste your league's managers or team names, one per line.
  2. Press Start. The first racer out of the maze gets pick 1, the second gets pick 2, and so on.
  3. Press Copy result, paste the order into your league chat, and enter it in your league app.

The race fast-forwards once the first pick is decided, so a 12-team league is done in about 20 seconds.

Make the reveal an event

Draft order day is half the fun of a league. Run the race on a video call, or record your screen and post the clip in the group chat so everyone watches their spot come in. Nobody can claim the commissioner rigged it, because every racer follows the same rules.

Weighted lotteries for keeper and dynasty leagues

Some leagues give the worst teams better odds at the top pick. List a team more than once to give it extra racers. A team's best racer sets its spot, so extra copies only help it pick earlier, and it still appears once in the order. For example, last place could get three entries, second to last two, and everyone else one.

If only non-playoff teams are in the lottery, race just those teams and slot the playoff teams in after them.

Snake drafts

The race sets the order for round one. In a snake draft, your league app reverses it every other round on its own.

Does it work for any fantasy sport?

Yes. Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, or anything else with a draft. It just sets an order.

Can it handle a 14 or 16 team league?

Yes. It takes up to 300 names, so any league size works.

Can I import my league from ESPN, Yahoo or Sleeper?

No. Paste the team or manager names in. It takes about ten seconds.

How do I prove the order wasn't rigged?

Run it live on a video call, or record your screen and share the video. Every racer follows the same rules with its own secure random choices.
