How it works
Paste a list and press Start. Every name runs the same maze. The first one out is first in line, the second one out is second, and so on down the list. Once the first racer is out, the race fast-forwards so nobody waits on the stragglers, and the full order lands in the list under the maze.
When two racers reach the exit on the same step, a coin flip decides who's ahead, so no two names ever share a spot.
When to use it
- Presentation order. Nobody wants to go first, so let the maze decide in front of the whole class.
- Who goes first in a game. Board games, card games, video game brackets.
- Speaking order. Stand-ups, open mic nights, panel questions.
- Rotations. Chores, carpools, snack duty. Run it once and paste the result into the group chat.
- Fantasy drafts. There's a draft order page just for that.
Only need one name? The name race stops as soon as there's a winner.
